Spring Lake Village

Our Client’s vision was to create a series of commercial and retail tenancy spaces on land adjacent to one of Springfield’s many lakes, close to the entry point of the suburb. Located at the base of a steeply graded embankment, the centre’s design responded to the corner aspect of the site and the linear nature of the property. Following the street frontages, the building form was shaped to maximise exposure of the retail shopfronts to passing trade and to take advantage of views over the lake system.

The development included:

  • Two key tenant spaces (franchise hardware and grocery market) of 615m² and 560m² respectively
  • Medical Centre of 175m²
  • Commercial office space totalling 550m²
  • Nine retail spaces totalling 840m²
  • Three café/restaurant spaces of 115m² with an associated alfresco dining area
  • Car park and ancillary services
