Forum Business Park
The Client’s vision was to develop quality office spaces, complete with amenities, tea preparation facilities, finished open plan office space complete with all wall linings, painting and floor coverings. End-of-trip common facilities were also provided for the benefit of future tenants and their employees.
The design of the building façade required consistency throughout the entire development to ensure its unique character amongst the neighbouring offices and warehouses typical to the precinct.
However, the Client was also conscious to ensure each tenancy space could be identified as a distinct element in its own right. A specific material palette applied to each alternate tenancy provided the visual separation that the Client required, while keeping a consistency across the development. Paint colours were carefully selected and applied to various sections of the façade to link the two separate buildings. The sun shading and steel elements of the design were repeated in varying forms in another response to the Client’s need for an identifiable, yet cohesive group of tenancies.
