“Success is when you can achieve both client and personal achievement at the same time.”
Luis derives great pleasure from investigating the design of any newly built form, seeing this as a way to research and understand the world and the society we live in. This in turn inspires him to push his own design boundaries and bring new and innovative design solutions to projects. His greatest personal reward comes from the ability to contribute to the community by creating spaces that evoke a sense of meaning to their users.
Luis’ particular area of professional expertise lies in both commercial architecture and interior architecture where he has extensive experience in team and project leadership, design, documentation and contract administration. His career to date has also led him to develop strong client and builder relationships, which he considers to be of paramount importance to his role.
Beginning his career in Rome with a Bachelor of Industrial Design from La Sapienza University, Luis has worked on architectural, interior and industrial design projects across Rome, Milan and other European cities before joining the Paterson Architect team in 2017.
The task presented to Paterson Architects was to design a market leading commercial office building adjacent to, and on the same lot as an existing 18 level office building, and to be built over an existing 5 level integrated carpark within the City of Perth CBD.
